Summary

Oracle is a local-first media player for playlists and program guides supplied by the user. Pink Lemon8 does not provide channels or subscriptions. Oracle has no account system, advertising, cross-app tracking, developer-operated analytics, or developer-operated content backend.

Pink Lemon8 does not receive your playlists, provider credentials, viewing history, favorites, or guide data through Oracle.

Information processed on your device

Oracle can process and store:

• M3U playlist and XMLTV guide URLs, including credentials or request headers included by a provider;
• local M3U and XMLTV files you select on supported devices;
• source names and imported channel, logo, group, stream, and program metadata;
• favorites, hidden channels, recently watched channels, import diagnostics, reminders, and app settings; and
• progressive VOD files you explicitly download when a provider marks them as authorized for offline playback.

Oracle uses this information only to import, organize, display, and play the sources you choose.

Storage and retention

On supported platforms, Oracle stores app data in a SQLCipher-encrypted SQLite database. The database key is protected separately by the operating system's secure storage.

Data remains on your device until you remove the related item or source, use Settings → Delete all local data, or remove the app. Program reminders use local operating-system notifications; Oracle does not operate a push-notification server. Platform secure-storage behavior may retain protected key material across an uninstall and reinstall.

Network requests and independent services

Oracle connects directly to the playlist, guide, logo, media, and provider-authorized download hosts you select. Those independent hosts can receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, user agent, and any provider headers or credentials required for access. Their own privacy terms govern that processing.

When you choose AirPlay, Apple and the selected playback device handle that route under their respective terms.

On Android phones and tablets only, optional Chromecast support sends the selected media URL and displayed channel, program, group, and logo information to the selected Cast receiver. Google's Cast Sender SDK may also process anonymized discovery, session, device, and app-activity information. Chromecast is not included in Oracle for iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.

Apple, Google, Expo, an app distributor, or an operating-system service may independently process purchase, download, crash, build, or device information under their own privacy policies.

Sharing, sale, and tracking

Pink Lemon8 does not sell personal information and does not receive or share the playlists, guide data, viewing history, favorites, or settings stored locally by Oracle. Oracle contains no advertising or cross-app tracking.

Security

Oracle requires HTTPS for remote playlist and guide imports and uses operating-system and database protections for locally stored data. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Never include a real playlist URL, username, password, token, provider header, or screenshot containing credentials in a support request.

Children's privacy

Oracle is not directed to children. Pink Lemon8 does not knowingly collect personal information from children through Oracle because the app has no Pink Lemon8-operated account or content service.

Your choices

You can remove individual saved sources or use Settings → Delete all local data. Because Pink Lemon8 does not receive Oracle's locally stored app data, it cannot retrieve, export, or delete that data remotely.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when Oracle's features or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published.
